Vagal Sensory Neuron Subtypes that Differentially Control Breathing

In this paper, we identified genetically defined vagal sensory neuron subtypes that innervate the lung and control breathing. This paper introduced new genetic tools and applied a range of new approaches to the vagal interoceptive system.
